The Mountain Bike Ayiti team is a collection of people dedicated to the vision of creating a sustainable adventure tourism industry in Haiti. |Amy King is our Hospitality and Outreach Director. Amy has been a passionate advocate and connector for Haiti since her first trip in 2007. She has traveled throughout the country with wide-ranging projects and brings with her a large and engaged social media network. |Conor Murphy has been operating in Haiti since 2008 where he worked with Irish Entrepreneurs to set up numerous innovative business and social projects in Haiti. He founded a consulting company to provides business services to companies ready to invest in Haiti. Conor spearheads MTB Ayiti's on-the-ground networking and sponsorship efforts.|
|Eric Miller is our Medical Team Leader and will ensure the safety of all participants. He is an Emergency Department nurse, paramedic, triathlete, and National Guardsman in Colorado. He has spent considerable amount of time in Haiti working on medical deployments. Eric is also the founder of the Rush Miller Foundation, which he created in honor of his son to provide tandem bicycles that enable blind children to experience the freedom and joy of riding.|
|Louise Story is one of the lead producers on the film and television production of MTB Ayiti. Offering over 12 years experience in production for sports television, she has covered 6 Olympic Games, 3 Tour de France, as well as countless other sports/events ranging from Bull Riding to Taiwan’s Centennial Celebration of their freedom from China. An avid adventurer, Louise immediately fell in love with the spirit and beauty within Haiti upon her first visit in early 2012 and is eager to share a side of Haiti that few would imagine possible.|
|Michael Kantor is MTB Ayiti's Director for Sponsors and Partnership. With a background in media and advertising, Michael fled television for the uncharted frontier of the internet in 1994. Between start-ups, he managed to take more than a year off to travel the world. Since 2010 Michael has made several volunteer trips to Haiti and was also part of a team that responded to the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand.|
|Philip Kiracofe is MTB Ayiti's founder and primarily works on operations, finance, and marketing. He is a seasoned entrepreneur, avid adventurer, and a passionate cause advocate. He has nearly 20 years of operational leadership experience ranging from venture capital funds, real-estate firms, and numerous web and technology start-ups. He first visited Haiti in Feb 2010 and has traveled extensively around remote parts of the country in search of adventure destination spots. |Steve Zdawczynski is our Photographic Genius and has been jumping bikes since his BMX racing days a youth. He raced to several national and state mountain bike cross country racing titles while working as a bicycle and aerospace engineer. A random trivia fact about Steve is there is a piece of aluminum in orbit around the planet Mercury with his name on it.
